HI
while installing php im getting follwoing error

configure: error: Cannot find libmysqlclient under /usr.
Note that the MySQL client library is not bundled anymore!

./configure --with-apxs2=/usr/sbin/apxs --with-config-file-path=/etc/httpd/conf/php.conf --with-zlib --with-mysqli=/usr/bin/mysql_config --enable-mbstring --with-mime-magic --with-mysql --with-libdir=lib64

i had configured my mysql its working fine still im get ride of these problem

mysql –u root -p
use mysql;
CREATE USER 'root'@'58.68.21.67' IDENTIFIED BY 'ecare2@';
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO 'root'@'%' WITH GRANT OPTION;
Quit MySQL
\q
service mysqld restart


[root@localhost ~]# whereis mysql
mysql: /usr/bin/mysql /usr/lib/mysql /usr/include/mysql /usr/share/mysql /usr/share/man/man1/mysql.1.gz

This is probably a dumb question but... do you have MySQL installed?

libmysqlclient = libmysqlclient.so :

# yum install mysql-devel

→ /usr/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient.so
