Canīt see shared folders using Samba

Hi all!
Another thread about Samba since I havenīt seen any with this problem. Iīm using Ubuntu server edition 6.10 and I have installed Samba. I have added users with "adduser -a". Thereīs no problem logging in from Windows. I can see the server, Iīll be asked for user name and password and seems to be logged in but the folder is completetely empty - I canīt see the printer nor the shared folders. I have uncomment the section "home" in the smb.conf file and thereīs no difference if I change security from "user" to "share".
I have propably forgot something simple but canīt imagine what. Any help is welcome.

Talking Solved!

This is a little bit embarrassing. When I printed out the smb.conf file I discovered that the file was completely unaltered though I had edited it and changed it several times. Unfortunately I had altered the file /usr/share/samba/smb.conf instead of /etc/samba/smb.conf. Now, after I have changed the proper file everything works fine.
