Hi, I have Installed qmail on fedora12 and its working fine. I have set attachment size 2MB should be sent by mail in php.ini file with upload_max_files=2m but i am able to send mail with more than 2mb size with pop3 configuration in outlook. when i am trying to sent mail from squirrel web mail. Mail just disappear and not showing in sent item folder(mail not going). I am not getting attachment size exceed failure mail.

Please help me how to configure qmail to restrict send mail more than 2mb and also send mail to user about attachment size exceed.

You should edit the file /var/qmail/control/databytes (or create it if it doesn't exist) and use 2097152 (that is 2M in bytes)
