550 5.1.1 User Unknown

Hello

I am having a problem receiving mail. It reaches my server but says the user doesn't exist.

I can send mail out without ANY issues though.

The error in the e-mail is 550 5.1.1 david.gill@DOMAIN User Unknown.

Below I included a printout of the sendmail -bv command, clipping from my maillog file, my local-host names file, and my .mc and .m4 files.

Thank You in advance.

Here is part of my maillog file. What I don't get is I send this e-mail on the 30th, but I am still getting this error today... I thought it would stop attempting to send the -mail.

Try bypassing the MASQUERADE_AS(`lkelectric.com') and actually have your DOMAIN with the FQDN in your sendmail.cf file.

I simply removed the masquerade line for now, I can fix that later if it continues. I now get a different error.

550 5.7.1 relaying denied.

I can still send mail out without an issue using mail -s....

sendmail -bv david.gill@DOMAIN.com, now shows that the mail to this user is deliverable. Before it was NOT.

Thanks for any suggestions.
