[SOLVED] Dovecot IMAP issue

I have a very basic postfix/dovecot install on Centos7. Everything seems to work. I can connect with IMAP with no errors. However, messages do not download/sync from Thuderbird/Outlook, etc. There are no errors, it just acts like there are no messages to download.

[solved]

I figured this out. I had to point Postfix to deliver to the location that Dovecot was trying to retrieve from.

In Postfix main.cf:

home_mailbox = Maildir/

In Dovecot 10-mail.conf:

mail_location = maildir:~/Maildir
