Windows Network Monitoring

I was just wondering if there wre any products out there that would monitor a Windows network. By monitor I mean scan the incoming and outgoing network traffic for viruses, and possibly notify the administrator. I have been searching around a bit on SourceForge and I haven't found such a product. The only promising product I have found is ntop, I am currently reading its docs, but so far it just looks like a bandwidth monitor. (I am probably definately wrong on that....haven't gotten taht far in teh docs yet )

ntop is just for bandwidth and such, you might want to look at ipcop or smoothwall, which can scan traffic for intrusion attempts and such, but to be honest, they are primarily firewalls, rather than traffic scanners.
