Tripwire questions

I'm have never used tripwire so i have a couple of questions. Can wildcards be used in the twpol.txt file? What i want to do is set everything in a directory to be SEC_CRIT. Do i have to do each one individually or can i do "/directory/* ->$(SEC_CRIT)". Also how do i run an intergrity check with the database on a cdrom?
Thanks for the help!

If you've never used tripwire, then reading the docs would make for a good start. Configuring tripwire aint that hard, but you need to know what you're doing.

AFAIk you're looking for "recurse=x" where x is (false|true|number).

Also how do i run an intergrity check with the database on a cdrom?
The location of the databases (DBFILE) is in /etc/tripwire/twcfg.txt. Change it, regenerate, shred twcfg.txt.
