Software for Crackers

I am interested in cracker software. Can anyone recommend what is the best software for hacking into systems. I just want to know what I will be up against when I am experienced enough to eventually have a linux lan set up. In the 2001 linux book I am studying it mentions 'crack' but the site it claims hosts it does not exist anymore.

I don't know anything about cracker software, but, here, let me send you a key to my house and my vacation schedule....

edit: OK, I see what you're doing, I think. Maybe not.

I doubt this thread will survive too long, but if you mean cracks for windows (like shudown windows, drop internet connection, put NT servers down, hack homepages) there're plenty of cracks around. Some famous are winnuke, pimp, jol2, trash, fawx2... They are easy to use and compile fine with gcc. Most of them won't work as long as the user/server uses Microsoft service packs...

How about instead of downloading someone elses exploits you: master TCP/IP, learn how the stack works and return opcodes, learn how to program in a few languages, learn how popular intrusion detection and firewall software works, and get an idea about how the theory behind hacking works before you get yourself in trouble.

I will bear all that in mind. Is it not every hacker/crackers dream to hack into the highest security national boxs and discover what the tyrants are really doing? There is nothing wrong with gaining information so long as you dont corrupt it and that it is not corrupt and you keep it from the public.
Anyway. I can't be bothered with winnuke. I dont want to meltdown windows. I just want to be able to gain access into computers. I will try to get better knowledge of TCP/IP, if I am going to ever get richer than bill gates I will need to do a lot more. Sorry for any inconsistencies in this post. I am on my third bottle/version of wine so forgive me.

...moved to the Security forum. Please also note that 'just gaining access to other computers' will get you into trouble, regardless of whether or not you "do" anything

Well I wont be surprised if gestapo turn up on my moat for gaining information. Wernt this post about about software not pircacy? Why do some furbrains like to waste their time in open source forums with their finger on 911 ready to report and spend a dollar calling a premium line denoucing someone for making making a backup of windows.
I fail to understand the s*it*he*ds.

It costs more than a buck to do that. I f you ever try calling msn customer support you will get charged £1.50 a min for service. Why dont microsoft include a horny woman moaning down the other end of the line, after all £1.50 is the price I'd expect to pay for a sex line not a custermer service line. Anyway, I am really sorry if a past post offended anyonr, as I am drunk most of the time.

If you are drunk, wait until you are sober before posting. We have members from all around the world and of various ages. Do not post anything that may be offensive.

Such as your previous post.

Hey!!! This is a great "Don't try this at home", post.
Cracking into computers.
Drunk as a skunk.
Calling sex lines.
If only we could link you to SCO....

I fail to see what you found so offencive about my previous post. I am aware that people from all over the world view this forum and I am aware that most of them would not be offended by mentioning the word porn in a thread. If your problem is beyond this fact please contact me at andreihague@yahoo.co.uk. If it is agrainst linux rules to mention the word porn in a thread then please email me.

Ask yourself - does a thread in a Linux forum really need to have reference made to a porn line? How is that relevant to either your original post or to this forum at all?

You have already stated that you are not sober, I would strongly urge you to not post again until you are sober.
