I heard that unix,linux is very safe os for running server.against hacker,ddos,port scan.........
if a unix experts write a script ,program that could break into my server and install virus,trojean,worms,ad ware,spy bot.......etc.then, there should be no difference between win-xp and unix os for server usage.
should it be without firewall,router,and anti-virus devices. ?

what is the major difference between windows and unix(linux) for best server,and or workstation. ???
you appear to have made very very little attempt to research any of these questions you are asking yourself. please try searching this site and other sites like google for all this very basic information.
