Please explain the options for Red Hat's default firewall

Okay, in Red Hat 8.0, I got to System Settings -> Security Settings, enter root password and a dialog pops up listing my options for security level configuration. I notice that My Security Level is set to high and I have "use default firewall rules" selected rather than "Customize"

The thing is, I don't know what security level "High" does differently than "medium" and since I don't know what the options are that are available if and when I choose "Customize" I'm restricted to using the default firewall rules.

Can somebody please explain to me what security measures are in place with my current settings, or give me a link or something to someplace that can tell me? Thanks

Howzit

The differance between High and and medium is that High blocks all ports connecting to your box except DNS and DHCP services for obvious reasons. The medium blocks all important ports like NFS , Samba , FTP, etc. On both cases it allows for u to connect to other machines but sometimes u do encounter some problems in doing this therefor u may have to specify what ports/services u want to use to connect to other boxs.
