default kernel options

ok, the time has come for me to compile a new kernel. i always screw it up, never selecting the correct options to make my system run...

my question is this: where do i find the configuration of the bare.i kernel from the slackware 9 distro? i need to add a couple of things, but want to leave the base that is there the same...

thanks!
