pam prob.em


hi

i want to know how to use the PAM authentication
on my system

i had understood the syntex of the /etc/pam.d/files but
i want an actual example

for example i want to use the PAM authentication
on the ssh

thank you

Have a look at http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/libs...x-PAM_SAG.html and http://www.linuxmanpages.com/man5/sshd_config.5.php (the UsePAM section)

A typical PAM entry for ssh (sshd) on CentOS looks like this:

# more /etc/pam.d/sshd
#%PAM-1.0
auth required pam_stack.so service=system-auth
auth required pam_nologin.so
account required pam_stack.so service=system-auth
password required pam_stack.so service=system-auth
session required pam_stack.so service=system-auth
session required pam_loginuid.so
