logging all commands including arguments

Hello,

I am struggling to find a solution here. I want to log all commands that are run on a system including arguments. Process accounting does this very well but without the arguments. Anyone know:

1. a way to configure process accounting to do what i want?
2. another way to do what i want?

Thanks!

Have a look at
http://sourceforge.net/projects/sudosh/

That's not possible.

If the machine is owned by an educational, institutional, government or business entity there may be privacy considerations doing that and you should talk to IT support or (network) admins.
On the other hand if this this is a private machine you own and only you access then only security considerations remain.
Tink already suggested Sudosh, I personally use Rootsh (same basic principle though). There may be different methods to use but that depends on what you need it for (please tell).
