Is it possable to set up a Linux as a firewall for my other computers if it is what would be the minimum requirements and what would be best for it?

well, if you're using linux as a gateway / router, and you put a firewall on it, then naturally it's firewall will protect all on the network. A simple firewall frontend config program i use is 'firestarter' have a look. it runs under gnome btw... as for what's best.. well it doesn't *really* matter that much.. any distro you want to use is fine

minimum req's are quite low... 386, low ram, no hd - just use an LRP for a firewall

Mandrake has a really nice security distro for D/L. Does all of the things that you need. Fairly easy to work with.
