Domain name resolving to IP Address

I pointed my domain from hosting company to AWS. Changed the A name. The website is called www.ishopbest.com
Domain pointing is successful.
when i type www.ishopbest.com, the website is displays fine but domain name is getting replaced by IP address in address bar. I am not an Linux expert. Can someone help?

Hello,

I just checked your website http://www.ishopbest.com. I found you are using an EC2 instance to host your website and your DNS provider is http://www.ipage.com/

You need to call IPAGE and tweak your DNS records to point www.ishopbest.com to ec2-54-187-200-224.us-west-2.compute.amazonaws.com. They should be able to do that easily.

Or you can also move DNS too to AWS Route 53 service. I wrote an article for the same some time back, you may want to refer it.

i called ipage and they said DNS setting is correct from there side and i need to contact amazon. The fact that Domain is recognizing the IP and resolving address correctly. It just that it's showing IP instead of domain. I don't have amazon support.

I am 100% sure Amazon has nothing to do with it as your site is running fine by browsing http://ec2-54-187-200-224.us-west-2....amazonaws.com/

This is definitely as DNS issue. You need to ask them to create a A record which points www.ishopbest.com to ec2-54-187-200-224.us-west-2.compute.amazonaws.com

Talk to their troubleshooting guys, if helpdesk is unable to understand the cause of it.

Excellent spam thread!
Textbook URL placement tactic.
Prop's to the OP, it even looks legitimate enough to get sensible responses, further enhancing the threads rep in the search engine algorithm.

Mods can replace the URL to something like XXXX. I don't feel this is spam.
