Talking Advantage of a third party ssl key?

Hi Guys,

Just wondering, what is the difference or advantage of using a third party ssl like Verisign or Rapidssl for your website, while you can just generate your on ssl key?

Regards,

Getting one that's signed by a known certificate authority. Self-signed certificates make the browser show a warning dialog.
