Don't get me wrong, I appreciate all that LQ does, but this article is about 6 months long on the "News". Shouldn't it be removed before OSCON comes around again?

We don't arbitrarily remove threads at LQ, but by replying you did manage to dig up a thread that hadn't seen activity in months with a reply that did not add anything constructive. I'm going to go ahead and close the thread.
