YUM problem on Godaddy Linux virtual dedicated server

I was attempting to update my php from 5.1.6 to 5.2.0 on my Godaddy virtual dedicated server. I followed the instructions found here...

http://community.godaddy.com/godaddy.../#comment-8609

However, I now get this...

Loaded plugins: fastestmirror
Config Error: File contains no section headers.
file: file://///etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Testing.repo, line: 1
'entOS-Testing:\n'

when I attempt to do anything with YUM and the version is still 5.1.6.

I'm completely new to this. I am attempting to set-up our company CRM using SugarCRM onto this server. I did it with a shared server but the email did not function so we went to the VDS and now I'm leaning linux on the fly. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Check the following link to cross check if you have done the same steps to create local repository: http://www.linuxmaza.com/system-admi...a12-centos5-4/

After making sure that you have got local repo configured correctly. Check local firewall settings. As I am pretty sure if repo is set up correctly then there is something blocking YUM to get the proper information from your http URL even if YUM is accessing repo via HTTP from the local server. Check if HTTP traffic is allowed through firewall or try disabling firewall, restart httpd and then give it a try.
