Xp, SUSE and FreeBSD

I have a new hard drive (160GB) and I want to triple boot with Windows XP, SUSE 9.1 amd64 and FreeBSD 5.3 amd64.

Can I do this, because I've heard that windows only allows two primary partitions.

If I can, I know to install XP first, shall I do SUSE or FreeBSD next?

You install XP first, and give it only the partitions it needs. Leave enough space for the other two OSses and have them partition the free space for themselves. Windows won't see them anyway.

I have decided to use GAG.

Is there any possible way that Windoows can see a Linux partition or any other OS?

If you read the FreeBSD manuals you will find to install FreeBSD last.

However FreeBSD is not as easy as Suse or in my case mandrake to install and if you've never done it b4 then find an older machine to practice on first.

I wanted to tripple boot Win98, Mandrake 10 and FreeBSD 5.? and gave up until I've had more experience with BSD. I still want to but dont want to risk my other installs.

Windows can see Linux partitions, but only with commercial tools. See for instance http://www.paragon-gmbh.com/
