Wrong time displayed on top bar


hi i just installed fedora core 5
the bar at the top displays date and time.
but the time what its showing is not what i've set.
i mean when i right click it to edit the time , in the edit window it is showing the correct time but on the bar its showing 5:30 hrs less.

Check the zone which is being displayed. I don't know if Fedora ships with KDE or Gnome, so I cannot guide you step by step. By default KDE has a lot of zones selected... just uncheck everything except Calcutta, your time should be fine
