wierd annoyance with opening mp3 files from konqueror
Ok, when i uninstalled the rpm xmms package and installed the source xmms package, now when i want to double click and open up a file while there's already xmms open playing, it will go into that window, but it'll show a little window in the task bar trying to open a new xmms window and the cursor blinks for like 1 minute then doesnt do anything
how do i make it so it goes into xmms directly?
it used to work with the rpm i got with my suse cds :S
KDE
ok
basically in the taskbar, tehre is already a xmms window and when i go into the file menu and open a file from there it tries to open another, and plays the song in the first xmms window.. the second one tries to load for 1 minute then just disappears..
Yeah, that's just the annoying "busy cursor" and/or "taskbar notification" in kde. You can turn them off in the control center => Appearance & themes => launch feedback.
