where is openoffice?


hi i just install open office package from linuxpackages.net
i used installpkg and all seems to work but i don't see it in kde under office or any where else
How can i run it? Is there a way to put it into kde?

I have it on the main menu under "Office", but I had to log out and log in again to see it. Try running `/opt/openoffice.org-2.0/program/sbase` to see if you have the same install as mine (openoffice.org-2.0-i586-2kjz.tgz).

it opens up open office
i cycle in and out but don't see it under office like you

hey i got it to work , but i couldn't find the icon for open office.
Do you know where they keep icon for open office?

The entries for the menu are under somewhere like /opt/openoffice.org-2.0/share/xdg - you should be able to use those.
