I have it on the main menu under "Office", but I had to log out and log in again to see it. Try running `/opt/openoffice.org-2.0/program/sbase` to see if you have the same install as mine (openoffice.org-2.0-i586-2kjz.tgz).

/opt/openoffice.org-2.0/program/sbase
it opens up open office
i cycle in and out but don't see it under office like you

The entries for the menu are under somewhere like /opt/openoffice.org-2.0/share/xdg - you should be able to use those.
