What are the minimum requirements for Ubuntu OS

I work for a trash company as a mechanic. The guy have given me 2 dell laptops 1 is a C640 latitude with a 1.8g possessor and 1G of RAM. The second one is a inspiron 6000 with a 1.86g centrino and 1g of ram.
My question is will these run a full version of Ubuntu. I think they they will but but seeing how I'm new to Linux I wanted to ask the pros.

Thanks

Go to the Adobe site (link below). It should detect you are running Linux. Click the down arrow on the Select version to download and click on APT for Ubuntu.

Better yet, install the package ubuntu-restricted-extras or read here:

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Re...dFormats/Flash

In general you should trust how-to's from help.ubuntu.com rather than random advice from strangers on a message board (not that we aren't all wonderful people and Linux geniuses of course).
