Angry Webmin, SWAT with Mandrake

I've been trying to get Webmin to work but it keeps giving me the message that port 10000 is already in use. I went into the etc/services file, and port 10000 is bound to Network Data Management Protocol. I'm not entirely sure whether this is a problem.

How do I get my xinetd to run? It doesn't seem to run, and this is causing SWAT not to run.

'You using Mandrake 8?

As root (in X), launch Mandrake Control Center. Expand the System tree and select Services. xinetd should be toward the bottom. You can Start/Stop it from here and also check the box for "On Boot".

I'm only in day 3 of using services, so take note of my newbie status. Good luck!
