Web mirroring program

Hello friends,

I need a program that, when pointed to a website, downloads all the contents without user intervention. For example, if I point it towards a site where a book is posted online, the tool must download the whole book and dump it in my hdd, for me to view it in my leisure.

Also, are there tools that can be used to download a large file, whenever we want with many pauses, like "getright" in windows. We can pause and continue to download a large file, whenever we are free. Is this possible in Linux...

PS: I know that wget can be used but I can't seem to configure it as I am behind a firewall and router. If there is any GUI programs, it will be helpful..
