Post Vista Ultimate to Ubuntu 8.0.2 Checklist


if I dual boot what using Wubi, what should I watch out for? I recently updated my iPhone and after the update I lost all functionality... I'd rather not go thru the same jazz with my laptop. who has tried and seen known gliches so I don't have a bathtub o tears in da morning?

Make a backup. Something can always go wrong. I think the installation is pretty straight forward, and if you use the wubi installer you don't even have to resize the file system, but you should always have a backup and a way to restore the original OS in case something goes wrong.
