Trying to dual boot Vista Ultimate/Fedora 6.0--Install Problems
Hey all, my first post! So I'll try to be as accurate as possible.
System: Core 2 Duo E6300, 2gb pc2 4200 ddr2 ram, evga x8800gts video card, 500gb sata drive
I currently have Windows Vista Ultimate installed on my hard drive, and I'd like to dual boot with Fedora Core 6. At first I tried partitioning my drive through windows(450gb partition for windows, 50gb set aside for Fedora)
I booted from the Fedora install DVD, and it keeps telling me that there was not enough space to create a /boot partition, and as well it could not create a /root directory.
I read up on some forums, deleted the partition i made in windows(restored HD to one 500 gb partition) and then chose the option through Fedora Install to install through free space on selected drives and create default layout, and I get the same /boot and /root space issue errors?
Can anybody shed some light on this? Thanks!
