Viewing Windows Partion/Drive

Hi. I have 2 80 gig harddrives

the first one is a WinXP/Linux Drive where 60 gigs is dedicated to windows and the rest is for Linux/Swap and its being dual booted

My other drive Is just for files. mp3z, .....etc.

is there any way to view the contents of my 2nd drive ? so i can play my mp3's and such ?

I was told that I would be able to read from the NTFS partition.. just not write. which all i wanna do is play all my mp3's..

running RH8 distro.

you can mount an ntfs partition with this command:

mount -t ntfs /dev/hdXX /mnt/ntfs

replace hdXX with /hda1, hdb3, or whatever.

Replace /mnt/ntfs with the directory you want to mount it on.

May I suggest using FAT partition on that drive so you could read/write from linux?
