Unhappy Video garbage only


hi all,

I bought a new (cheap) computer and installed mandrake 10.1 on it. Everything work fine except that I can't see any movie. The sound is just perfect, but he screen just show garbage whatever I use (kaffeine, oxine, gxine...). It was working fine on my former computer

Are you able to help me?

I have a MS8158E mother card, it includes a video card. Here under is the message i get from the shell.

You may want to consider getting a Better video card.
What exactly is the "GARBAGE"?

first, the screen is blue and at once, it is filled with horizontal lines blue, red, pink or so. if I mov the screen, it changes a bit...

I hope it helped...

sometimes you can read some of the text of the shell window through the horizontal lines

following the advices of some friends of mine, I changed the setting of my screen: I reduced the number of colors and it works just fine now.
