Sure, http://mplayerhq.hu

Grab the source, compile it, if you are missing any required dependencies, you should get them and install them as well. In the end, you'll have what some consider "The most powerful video player ever" or at least in Linux

There are plenty of threads on Mplayer since it can be a bit of, shall we say, work to get it working optimally, but because of the massive amounts of threads that means more help for you The search button is in the upper right corner of each screen. If you have any questions though, feel free to post back.

There is an Mplayer slack-pack at linuxpackages.net

If you have trouble compiling it, that may help you.


You can also look at Xine, as many people like that.
