Changing default vi viewer in slackware 10


Where do I look to change the default viewer from vi to pico in slackware 10?

you have to install pico before you can use it...............

And once you've installed pico, set the EDITOR environment variable to pico. Most programms like vipw or visudo will respect $EDITOR and invoke pico instead of vi.

To make it permanent, in your ~/.bashrc add the line
EDITOR=pico

I'm trying to find the file that I need to set the editor to pico for default on all accounts. Pico is already installed.
