Using LRMI in RedHat linux


Hi all
I want to use bios interrupts in Linux. For that i downloaded LRMI.But i dont know how to use. Can anyone help me?

Downloaded LMRI-0.10 and able to run the binary file vbetest. When i typed the video mode number saying error as, "To switch video modes, this program must be run from the console". I am running from terminal only. Can anyone help me
