Using Apache 2(?) on RH9. How to direct domain name to my pc?

Hi

Im BRAND new with linux and even newer with apache.

I have RedHat 9 and am using apache 2 (i believe). i found out where to store files that I want to be seen (.../var/www/http/... or whatever) and have created a one line index.html but now I need to know how i tell my domain name to go there. Right now I think (only on my pc, of course,) localhost.com is the address.

I own jesusphreak.com through Mad Dog Domains and Cattle Co. (an online domain company). I only know how to set it up to use other site (eg, whatever/yahoo.com).

I thought it might just be my IP but just typing my IP in the web address of my browser tells me I dont have permission.

How do I do this?

Thank you,
(please also keep in mind that I do not know how to use terminals or text based ANYTHING in linux yet. the most i know is all GUI but even that is extremely limited. Im willing to learn (with great help) though!

I just noticed a post earlier that seems like it is the same question but as simple as it sounds for them I dont even know what they are tallking about. I dont know how to open ports even.
I am using DSL-->DSL Modem-->D-Link di-604 router-->lan card in Linux PC. (soon I intend to add a switchbox to have 2 pcs connected to the router.) the router has 4 jacks but it is downstairs and i have 2 pcs upstairs with only 1 cable going through the floor downstaits to the dlink.
Thank you!

if you want to open the http port (80) you have to do that in your router under port forwarding
