URGENT problem with mod_rewrite


Hi im trying to enable mod rewrite for use clene urls on my site ass a newbie in linux i dont know how to compile this module without making a mess in my company could anyone tellme how to dothis?

tHis is a producttion server, using REdhat 9.0 apache 2.0.40 and with compiled modules
core.c
prefork.c
http_core.c
mod_so.c
and using ssl

my principal concern is not damge the ssl configuration.
