Mod_rewrite install problem

I am trying to get a web application running that requires mod_rewrite to be running on our Red Hat 8.5 Apache server.

I have followed various articles about adding it in the httpd.conf but there doesn't seem to be the file anywhere on the server. I have found mod_rewrite.c but I wouldn't know what to do with it!

Any suggestions as to where I can lay my hands on this file or another fix?

I am running Apache 2.0.45

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.

I'm closing this thread, the one in Software ( ) remains open
