Urgent....

Hi Everyone,

I want to get the detailed description about every field in the task_struct
structure. Want an explanation of atleast 1-2 lines per field. Please do not guide me with the documentation in /linux/sched.h.

Waiting for your reply...

Thanks in Advance.

please do NOT mark threads as urgent. it is not urgent to a voluntary community. instead you should actually use useful thread titles in order to get the right people looking at it.

The homework alarm just went off.........

Welcome to LQ---you are not, however, getting off to a good start. Here is my initial interpretation of your words:
---Give me explanation of the thing
---Give me enough detail to satisfy my teacher
---Don't bother me with some file which might help me figure it out for myself.

I hope I am getting the wrong impression, and I encourage you to re-post with a description of what you are trying to accomplish, and which parts of that struct you don't understand.

Sorry that was not my intention. I went through many documents but really could not find much except indirection to /linux/sched.h

Sorry for the title urgent.

Thanks.

OP has re-written this here.

Is this an improvement?
