Now make an account again with "useradd -d /home/campomanes -p password campomanes", but replacing "password" with the password you want for that account. After this, run "ls /home" to see if there's a directory there called campomanes. If not, create it with "mkdir /home/campomanes". Dunno why useradd is odd in this way, I always use adduser and it works without having to create directories and stuff :/.
You'll want to then log out of root with "exit" and then log back in with your new account.
