upgrading to KDE 3.2

i was readin up on a review of KDE 3.2 (at http://fedoranews.org/krishnan/tutorial/kde3.2/ ) and they have a link to download it (which is http://ftp.us.kde.org/pub/kde/stable...t/Fedora/i386/ ). i noticed that the folder its in is for red hat. if im running mandrake, would i have to download the version for mandrake, or can i just run the one thats posted there?

or better yet, whats the easiest way for a newbie to upgrade KDE to 3.2?

thx!
Apu

i used kde's konstruct program and it was pretty easy - just took forever to build. if you've got the time i highly recommend it.

i beleive mandrake does use rpm packages so that should be ok. but first i would check mandrakes site, they may have documentation about what to do. 3.2.2 is out on the kde.org site. that would be my first stop. i run it on my slackware box, it is very nice, wouldnt use anything else
