Upgrading the KDE

I want to upgrade my KDE to 3.2 and downloaded the following files
Code:
kdebase-3.2.0-0.1.i386.rpm
kdelibs-3.2.0-0.1.i386.rpm
kdevelop-3.0.0-0.1.i386.rpm
kdebase-devel-3.2.0-0.1.i386.rpm
kdelibs-devel-3.2.0-0.1.i386.rpm
qt-3.2.3-0.2.i386.rpm
qt-designer-3.2.3-0.2.i386.rpm
qt-devel-3.2.3-0.2.i386.rpm
arts-1.2.0-0.1.i386.rpm
arts-devel-1.2.0-0.1.i386.rpm
redhat-artwork-0.90-0.1.i386.rpm
when i tried to upgrade the some dependencies failed
Code:
libraw1394.so.5 is needed by kdebase-3.2.0-0.1
libsensors.so.2 is needed by kdebase-3.2.0-0.1
libsmbclient.so.0 is needed by kdebase-3.2.0-0.1
The first two dependency failures are corrected but i don't need the samba client ....
please help

I'd say just install the smb client, can't hurt, but otherwise just do the -nodeps option

installing kde3.2

I downloaded all the tar.bz2's then I downloaded konstruct and modified a file to tell it where the downloaded files were and it did everything for me. took about 8 hours to compile and install. had no problems what so ever. just read the readme file and follow directions there it'll walk you through the installation.

I'm using redhat fedora core

In the directory where the rpms are. rpm -Uvh --nodeps *.rpm

Works everytime.
