unprobed monitor


hi everyone,

there seems to be some problems with my monitor setting. i set it to Compaq 151F when i installed Red Hat, i am wondering if anyone could tell me how to change the setting back to 'unprobed monitor'

howzit

change to text mode console by pressinf Ctrl-Alt-F1 then login as root type the cmd redhat-config-xfree86 and choose settings accordingly.

thanks.
but i still couldnt find 'unprobed monitor' or 'unknown monitor' on the list.
i am not wanting to set the monitor to any specific model from any company.

There should be a option that says Generic select one of those
