Unable to install rpmfusion for vlc.

Tried to install rpmfusion for later installing vlc but got the following error (even though I tried installing rpmfusion though root)--

error: skipping http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/...ble.noarch.rpm - transfer failed - Unknown or unexpected error

Pls help.

The link ...
http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/...ble.noarch.rpm
