Ubuntu drivers for Canon MX330 multi function printer scanner

I have downloaded successfully the drivers for the printer component of the MX330. The scanner drivers are downloaded, but I am unable to locate the working part of the .sh file so that I can open it. I have the .sh file in text, but do not know how to utilize it.

Please let me know what to do next, I am a newbie.

the .sh file is a shell script that you need to execute from a root terminal in the form
Code:
sh the_name_of_the_file.sh
this should run through the installation for your printer/scanner
good luck
