Tuxboot doesn't detect my USB drive


Do I have to do something for my ubuntu system to see my usb drive?

It would help if you explain what you are trying to accomplish. Tuxboot might not be the best tool.

The USB drive needs to be formatted with a FAT filesystem.

My goal is to load Clonezilla onto the USB drive.

I bought 2 new 16GB USB drives and one of them only shows 64MB capacity! I looked in Gparted to see if the drive had unallocated space, but it only shows 64MB total. I'm confused.

My preference would be to use the manual method since your not dependent on other programs.

As long as the drive has a single partition which they usually do then it does not matter since formatting is going to essentially erase everything anyway.

My USB drive was defective. I used a different one and was able to use Tuxboot. Thanks for your help!
