Trying to establish a working virtual topology with GNS3 and VirtualBox.

Hi Linux community!

I'm trying to work out a virtual network topology but I'm having next to no luck. (USR ERROR)

I have two VirtualBox Servers (Ubuntu Server & Microsoft Server 2003) connected (well not connected) to GNS3 to one switch to router to internet.

Wondering if someone can help me sort out the I.P addresses and NICS after much tutorials and google-ing I still don't have a clue.

Here is some pictures of the topology, settings etc if you can make sense of it (Hopefully!)

If you have any advice, links, tutorials, anything! .. It would be fantastic as every morning I wake up and think "It's about time I get that topology to work"

Thanks!

Hi,

you have to set the Vbox machine network settings to Bridged.
Then your machines will get access to internet/ other machines as if you would directly connect them to your router/switch ports (your SW1).
