Touchpad and mouse at the same time

Hi - Please let me thank you in advance for any help.

Here is the deal... I installed 3 days ago for the first time ever linux FEDORA core 1 on my IBM thinkpad t41. My question is - its possible to enable the touchpad and the external MS intellimouse at the same time? I get them to work individually just fine why rebooting everytime I want to switch.

Any suggestions?

Thank you again,

In your /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 (or without "-4") first define your touchpad by adding something like this:
Section "InputDevice"
	Identifier "touchpad"
	Driver "mouse"
	Option "Protocol"	"PS/2"
	Option "Device" "/dev/psaux"
The in Section "ServerLayout" insert this:
	InputDevice "touchpad" "SendCoreEvents"
