touchpad mouse + usb mouse on laptop

i haven't had this problem with other distributions, but i have a laptop with a touchpad mouse, but i also hook up a usb mouse. normally i can use them both at the same time, but the libranet set-up only lets me choose EITHER a usb mouse or a ps/2 mouse. any suggestions on how i can get both of them to work at the same time? that way i don't have to change the setup anytime i add or remove the usb mouse?

i should probably note that i'm use the 2.7 (?) classic version of libranet (the free downloadable one).

Search LQ for "Need to Config USB Mouse" thread. This solved my problem. Interestingly, my install reversed the "CorePointer" and "SendCoreEvents"... which would have worked if I disconnected my touchpad from the laptop every time (sarcasm implied here).
