suggest popular video player and easy for installation in RHEL5
Dear sir,
I am using RHEL-5.
what is most popular video and audio player that is most easy to install ?
Also, it should be able to play all formats.

Firstly, there are no Sirs here.
I agree with laucian. But the programs provided as default (Totem, Rhythmbox) are not bad either. All you need is required libraries. Install 'xine' and it can handle lot of media.

i downloaded vlc-0.9.9a-3.el5.rf.x86_64.rpm
but it will not installed
on the time of software installer it

From my experience XINE is the best video player for rhel5 and u can run any video files through it . It can be freely downloaded from internet and easy to install on linux distros
