Exclamation sudo rmmod psmouse + sudo modprobe mouse = stuck


Hi,

I ran
Code:
sudo rmmod psmouse
and got
Code:
rmmod: ERROR: module psmouse is not currently loaded
Then

Code:
sudo modprobe mouse
Code:
modprobe: FATAL: Module mouse not found in directory /lib/modules/4.10.0-27-generic
and last but not least

Code:
modprobe -r mouse
Code:
modprobe: FATAL: Module mouse not found
Touchpad is not working. I messed up. Please,how to reverse it all?

I don't think there is a module called "mouse". But you could try loading "psmouse". But first, what are you trying to do? Why are you running those commands?
