Then

Code:
sudo modprobe mouse

and last but not least

Code:
modprobe -r mouse
Code:
modprobe: FATAL: Module mouse not found
Touchpad is not working. I messed up. Please, how to reverse it all?

I don't think there is a module called "mouse". But you could try loading "psmouse". But first, what are you trying to do? Why are you running those commands?
